Your dad knew he was smarter than people before you did and he had the larger trophies to prove it. He was the Mohamed Ali of mental boxing bouts that brain beat opponents with intellect haymakers. Nobody expected this t-shirt clad kid to possess a Britannica of knowledge, but he did. He was a prodigy of thought that wielded his think box like a sledgehammer. He’s never lost an argument, including the ones where he was wrong.

So hipsters, next time you’re looking down on someone for the conversation you overheard them having while you were making their coffee at your non-corporate job, remember this…

Your dad used his higher intelligence for good. He helped put a man on the moon, cured crippling diseases and created the machines we use everyday. You’ve only used your intelligence to eloquently complain and give yourself a false sense of superiority.
