Your dad wore ugly sweaters before you did and he has the family portrait to prove it. Since before Cosby was a prefix for it and parties were themed around ugly versions of it, your dad was rocking those glorious woven pieces of wearable art. His collection of knit Pollack’s, and wearable Worhal’s were the panty droppers of the shivery seasons. They were the mullet of chest coverings, formal enough for work but colorful enough to be worn to a party.
