Instead of making a normal hipster bashing post today where I lampoon smug self esteems from Williamsburg to San Fran, I want to do something different. The past month of my life has been surreal, and I want to take a moment to thank the people who have made the blog and the book so successful. I wouldn’t be where I am today isn’t it wasn’t for these people.

First, thank you to all my followers, Facebook fans, and everyone who has ever tweeted the words “Dads are the Original Hipsters. Without your likes, tweets, and reblogs - I wouldn’t be an author. Thank you so much, I owe everything to you. 

Second, thank you to my dad. Thank you for being a badass back in the day. Thank you for making me realize that no matter what I do, you did it first and you did it way better. 

Third, thank you to all the dads featured in the book. Any success I have with the book is equally yours. 

Fourth, thank you to the Chronicle family. You saw something in my internet ramblings and helped me craft it into an amazing book.
