  • Your dad used photo filters before you did and he’s got the lens attachments to prove it. With a photographer’s first aide kit slung to his side, he rescued shots from mundane and made them majestic. He had acid trip color adjusters, light bending diffusers and UV defenders to make magic with. Then, in a dark room high off developer fumes, his augmented exposures were brought to life. So hipsters, when you’re post applying digital filters to your instagram  shots, in hopes of achieving artsy gold, remember this… Your dad was an artist of recalibrating reality first.
